software which is used for Statistical analysis of the readings entered via the keyboard or the digital gauge. It is customized software developed for Mahindra & Mahindra. It includes features like data entry module, charts and reports (P M Chart / Combinational Chart / Control Chart / Normality / Histogram / CP & CPK trend & others) based on statistical analysis. User level rights for each module. The readings could be entered from the keyboard or via a RS232 compatible digital port. Print facility for the filtered reports and the chart plotted in landscape & portrait mode. Also includes features to export data sheet in various formats and the charts in bmp format and other additional utilities like data management, backup, etc.
This software helped MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA to achieve the prestigious Deming Award (2nd company other than SUNDARAM group), which is awarded for quality.
Supply Chain Management
A Web Application developed with .net technology for Century Textiles and Industries Ltd Retail System. As Century has laid its footsteps into the Retail Shop outlets, there is a need for a supply chain management system, where by the shop can maintain their purchase, sales & stock. This is a custom designed system to suit their above need. It acts as an interface between the main unit & the outlets. The system covers right from the shop level indent generation, to the processing by the retail manager at the HO, dispatch of goods to the Retail shop. The main part of the module is the data upload / download & the reporting module.
The shop users on daily bases update their data to and from the Web Server. The data is updated using the .Net web services methodology. The reports are analytically designed for the managers to compare their sales & inventory trend
An Exports system for Century Textiles and Industries Ltd. (Century Textiles / Century Denim & Century Yarn) using a three-tier Client Server architecture developed with VB6.0 as front end, SQL server 2000 as back end and for reporting self-developed reporting tool and also Crystal reports. This also has a self-designed reporting tool, where the user can create/modify the reports by themselves.
The entire development is based on the COM technology, processing the major computation on the back-end thus reducing the load of the front-end. Each module is rights protected, with the admin to control the users.In spite of having the windows interface, the software is designed for dos print which in this client’s case having a dot matrix printer performs the best (faster printing).
The software solution also has an advanced MIS reporting tool where the user can design its own report and get the desired output. As the major documents have to be approved by the government there are always some or the other changes. This tool is also helpful in analyzing their transactional records.
This Web Application is used for capturing Business Development (BD) contacts for multi-location offices/branches of Colliers, with converting a BD to a requirement. At requirement all the interactions done with the Client is captured, and when the deal gets closed, then it moves to Lead. After signing the Fee Agreement the Lead moves to WIP (Work in progress), where in all the WIP process stages are monitored, along with the Fees received. At all the stages the Client interaction is recorded, and so can be referred at any given point of time.
The most important part of this application is the dashboard, where in each and every members gets to know the BD | Requirement | Lead | WIP that has been generated for he himself and also for his colleagues.
There are various divisions (service lines – types of services), each having their own requirement capturing interface, which is been handled in the system Plus there is a feature where a member of one service line passes a referral to another service line.
